Job Description
Qualified candidates will have the ability to collaborate and understand the needs of the end user and implement SCADA/MES changes to meet those needs. Will provide plant support for SCADA/MES systems and PLC Logic. Position will also participate in test and pilot runs of new and improved product and evaluate the results.

· In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, and wiring schematics
· Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety standards

· Ability to act on the instructions from a supervisor and work well alone or as members of a team.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and support object-oriented programming for SCADA applications.
· Ability to modify and competently troubleshoot SCADA systems, HMIs, Data Historians, etc. (Ignition, Wondeware, Iconics, Factory Talk)
· Experience in a High-Level Programming Language (C#, Visual Basic, Python, etc.).
· Ability to analyze and interface to PLCs and other Automation systems.
· Understanding of Industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC DA/UA, and Ethernet/IP, ROC, ABB, etc.
· General computer knowledge and proficiency.
· Experience with the following Programming Languages: MSSQL, VB, HTML, and PLC Logic
· Leads compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards
· Ability to overcome obstacles utilizing problem solving skills.
· Ability to work in all conditions inside and outside for extended periods of time.
· Ability to perform the necessary physical aspects of the job.
· Ability to adapt performance based on feedback provided from peers, crew leaders, and management.
· Adhere to NEC Code guidelines and additional safety rules and guidelines established by Houston Electric Inc. and its customers.
· Ability to perform additional duties as required.
· Ability to participate in our on call rotation is mandatory. You will be on call for 1 week every 8-10 weeks to respond to after hours emergency calls.
· Ability to pass pre-employment and on going random drug screens.
· Ability to work overtime as job needs dictate.

Competitive Pay
Pay is determined by previous experience.
Hourly Pay Range: $38.46 – $48.07
Salary Pay Range: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00
