Kris Krout

Prior to starting with Houston Electric Kris was a farm hard from an early age which started his unwavering work ethic. Kris started his electrical career in 2004 with Younger Electric. After a short time at Younger working in commercial electrical environments Kris came to Houston Electric looking to further his electrical knowledge and skills. Shortly after started at Houston Electric Danny recognized his talent and had him running a crew. Kris managed an extremely efficient and self-sufficient crew building lasting relationships with customers that are still present today. When the company changed ownership in 2011 Kris was promoted to operations manager and was responsible for managing multiple customers projects and crews concurrently. Kris excels at managing employees effectively and finding the right positions for them to fill that is the most beneficial for the employees, customers, and the company itself. Kris was promoted to Vice President of Houston Electric shortly after the transition and started to drive the success of the business in all aspects. In 2023 Kris became the owner and President of Houston Electric. Kris brings a fresh perspective to the business now and is committed to driving employee success and stability while providing a reliable, cost-effective, quality solutions to its customers.
