HEI is seeking a highly motivated and eager Apprentice to join our dynamic Electrical Automation & Controls team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for oilfield, industrial, and commercial automation equipment.

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and execute tasks efficiently.

  • Deepen your understanding of electrical control schematics, ladder logic, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) through on-the-job training and mentoring.

  • Perform a variety of tasks, including wiring conduits, pulling wire, and installing electrical and control components with precision and accuracy.

  • Contribute to a safe and productive work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.

  • Build and assemble electrical automation & control components according to specifications and industry standards.

  • Actively participate in ongoing training to enhance your knowledge of electrical systems, including industrial and commercial applications, and the latest advancements in automation technology.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • A High School diploma, or equivalent training/experience.  Additional education or vocational training in the construction or electrical trade is a plus.

  • A valid Driver's License: For reliable transportation to job sites.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
